The x-y plane looks down by default, but when I tried to rotate the section to look up, either by a 180º rotation along the x- or y-axis, the section I get looking up seems to be taken from a location below the object, so looking at the bottom of the object.
Rotating the sections in the x-z or y-z planes gives the correct results.
I had seen this sort of behavior mentioned in the Forum elsewhere but there were no good examples of it, so the proposed solutions didn't seem correct.
The .FTCStd file is attached. The attached screen shot shows 6 sections, the problematic section is the lower center one (just below the object, -y) which should show the hole in upper surface of the object looking up, but shows the bottom of the object looking up.
