@chrisb

The outer would be the major DIA (Diameter) / 2
Minor would be the inner

I have here attached the section to the helix with 10µm distance to the next turn (5 would probably be also ok):

Then the diameter is simply controlled by the radius of the helix.

Hello oliverspozi, greetings to the Community!
- File "Proj.FCStd" --> "Support" parameter of "Shape binder" (CopyHelix001) missing, this causes the error signal.
- File "Proj2_Subtractive.FCStd" has the same error as File "Proj.FCStd".
Leaving the original files you supplied, once the errors have been eliminated and the sketch-profile that generates the thread has been suitably modified, using the "cut/difference" boolean function of "Part" it is possible to obtain the threaded cap.
Animated gifs show the correction processes.
It should be noted that to obtain the threaded cap you can use the "Subtractive helix" function directly in "Part Design" and complete the modeling of the threaded cap in a single body without using either the "Part" wb or the boolean functions.
The attached files, fixed in the errors, are exactly the same as the originals.

@domad, you still have to fix the placement of the sketch.

Greetings to the Community!
Hi @chrisb,(thanks for pointing this out) yes I know the profile sketch is not positioned correctly, I purposely left the original file positioning.

@chrisb

I ended up redoing it and the angle has since been fixed. It was an issue with the co-ordinate systems between the main body and the various planes. All sorted now.

Thanks for the help everyone
