This check is also on my custom every WB toolbar, very handy.

I second @adrianinsaval, besides it is on every WB and needed, since it will (probably) needed for assembly in future, at least now for working with multiple parts with links reasonable.

Beside the point...it is confusing. It has never been required to make a Part Design Body. As I said it confuses new users.

I didn't say it hurt anyone. I said it was confusing to new users.

The whole structure toolbar (PartContainer, Group, 2 times Links) is for PartDesign not necessary, even not for others WBs. All not WB related toolbars are on on the bottom row, all others (like structure) are top row (per default). I find this not confusing, think this makes total sense.

Many users see, left to right on the bottom row, structure toolbar, Body, Sketch. This leads them to assume the steps to create a Part Design model is to create a Std_Part, then a Body, then a Sketch.

I don't know why they see this or make this assumption (though there are tutorials that indeed indicate this sequence).

New users even can be seen making a Std_Part for every Body.

When new users are introduced to Geo. check and Validate sketch they regularly ask why they are hidden.

But, this has high jacked this thread enough.
