Thank you Papyblaise that looks terrific. I will examine your file tomorrow.

Bance wrote: Fri Mar 31, 2023 7:01 am It's in my file, you must use the multitransform tool since it is not possible to pattern a pattern otherwise.

Use two mirror operations with different axis of symmetry.

Double click on the multitransform in the treeview to open the edit dialogue.
Thanks once again Bance - I will have another attempt tomorrow.
After a couple of hours trying to figure this out I almost gave up but thanks to our friend at Joko Engineering

I realise where I was going wrong - I was trying to use the mirror tool after I had created the Multitransform
For the benefit of anyone who has similar difficulties as how this works here are the steps I took:-

1. Selected the pad and additive loft using the control key
2. Selected the Multitransform icon
3. A window with two panes opened above which was a green message stating the transformation had succeeded
4. I right clicked in the lower of the two windows and chose add mirrored transformation
5. Chose as the plane "vertical sketch axis" then "OK"
6. Right clicked on the lower pane again
7. Chose as the plane "horizontal sketch axis" then "OK"

Very simple really - that's probably why I struggled with it - complication is my forte

Thank you Bance, Thomas and Papyblaise for helping me. I appreciate it.
