I'm trying to generate a milling path base on 4 connected edges. For some reason I can't get it to work for my simple model.
I think l I'm running the latest version of freecad:

I works for me. I can generate tools paths from the operations that are included in that document. I can even add new operations.
But I can't get it to work from my simple design.
If I select the top face or all 7 edges It will generate a tool path. If I only select some of the edges All I get is the tool plunging down when I run the sumulation
I'm hoping that some one could take a look at the attached file and help me see what I'm missing
