How do I fix this broken mesh area ?

Post by techGuy »

CfdOF rocks !

This mesh generated by cfmesh is broken between these wing elements. How do I fix it ? Put another refinement rejoin between the elements ?

Base element size is 10mm. The chord of the small element is 73mm. The meshing process fails (runs out of memory) if I change Base element size to 5mm.

I'm using 1 refinement volume.

Changing the Basic Element Size to 6mm fixed the problem. I solved the memory problem by running with only 1 core. I'll need to add more memory to my meshing computer.
