Re: Image Workbench is missing on the latest Weekly.
Yes sir. I just downloaded the windows conda weekly and tried this out again. Flows smooth enough and didn't delete my image plane folder from an older model file. I can proceed to explore the new features that have been added now. Thanks !
Looks like the old way of pick a couple of points on the image and specify a distance is not implemented yet. Perhaps if I have to scale something that way, I can use an older version and then proceed with the latest weekly until it's implemented.
Nice to see the rapid releases of FC lately - even if there are a few bumps along the way
Cheers,
Lewis

I just updated the the appimage on one f my machines.
Is this "select points to scale" supposed to be there?
If yes, where/how does one trigger it?

I just built it on another machine. When I File>Import and image I get this. There appears to be no tool for selecting scale points, and it isn't in the document.

some of the complaints here sound very entitled, image WB functionality is not going away it's just being reworked. Here's how this sounds: "how dare you present me with a small inconvenience for a short period of time just to facilitate the work you are doing as volunteers"
The maintainers are truly evil aren't they?
Are you missing something from image wb? Go talk on the issue about it, ask for what you need and explain why but have some patience for gods sake. I guess I should have left the weekly builds broken for some more time to keep these complainers happy
Re: Image Workbench is missing on the latest Weekly.
I'm seeing very weird issues. Two different Debian 11 fresh builds.
- File>Import list two entries for the Image format (on both PC's)
- Select one of the entries and it loads the image, but
- on one PC, jpg comes up in a separate document, png is loaded into the current doc and on the XY plane
- on the other PC, any image comes up in a new document.
- If I select the other Image format line in the File>Import dialog, select a file, FC crashes

Re: Image Workbench is missing on the latest Weekly.
The fact that there's two entries appears to be the crucial part of your issue, are you sure that the build_folder/Mod does not contain an Image folder, I had to manually delete mine yesterday before testing? Otherwise I'm at a loss as to how there's more than one entry.

Ok, that solved the issue of two entries. But still no scale by two points...
