[feature request] Begin - End option for groove and revolution
The PartDesign groove and revolution only support the Angle option.
I propose that it should also have the option to select the begin and end angles. For example, begin at 45° and end at 170°.
Currently if a user wants to do this he has to put the sketch in a plane that is at least at 45° or 170° and then add the groove or revolution from there.
With the begin - end options users could add the sketch at 0°, and then just enter to begin at 45° and end at 170°.

+1
Like Pad "2 dimensions" mode.

+1, negative second angle should be possible too.
There is another workaround: create a second revolve/groove with the same sketch to the other side.harine9787 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 1:00 pm Currently if a user wants to do this he has to put the sketch in a plane that is at least at 45° or 170° and then add the groove or revolution from there.
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.

but where should be the start of the groove...? where is the 0°...?

30° & 15° = from 30° clockwise to 15° anti-clockwise
30° & 15° & reversed = from 30° anti-clockwise to 15° clockwise
(30° & -15° = from 30° clockwise to 15° clockwise (the sketch is outside the revolution/groove))
