Hi papyblaise, Thank you for the proposed solution.

I know how to draw this part, I wrote that it is not a problem.

I just wanted to point out the limitation that these commands (Draft, Fillets, Pad...) have, hoping that they will be improved in the near future.

thank you for soliciting the developers (I am here their spokesperson!), they do not need to be solicited to occupy their long winter evenings
if you think it's not going fast enough, you write a piece of program to move forward and publish it

I didn't ask for anything, I just presented the problem and the hope that it will be solved in the future. I especially do not intend to attack the developers, because I am grateful to them for the effort they put into this software.

I don't quite understand your arguments. You say, that FreeCAD is a toy, and by saying ...
I just hope that in the future FreeCAD will transform from a 3D CAD program for enthusiasts to a normal and functional 3D CAD software that can be used by mechanical engineers as well.
... you imply that FreeCAD cannot be used by mechanical engineers.
And now you say

So you just insist on a certain workflow, while a different one is no problem?

This conversation is going in the wrong direction. I have no bad intentions, I'm not going to argue and I'm not attacking anyone. I chose the wrong word Toy, I apologize for that.

Obviously, I presented the problem very poorly when people got that impression.

This is another approach on the problem using shape-binder tool.

From the bottom I get the result I want.

From the top I am getting an inconsistent surface.

So close. Sorry file to large to post.
