Drawing dimensions wrong after turning off "model threads"

Post by MeSat »

Hello, I just want confirmation about this issue.

I have a series of drawings with "Holes" and had the threads modelled when I made the drawings. With all the different parts in the assembly, the load time with the recompute was over an hour after loading the file or making a change. I went into the individual parts and turned the "Model Threads" off to speed up the process. Looked at the part drawing and noticed that most of the dimensions are now wrong.

Is this part of the topographical naming problem?

Yes, and it needs the serious improvements of the currently ongoing TNP work to improve the situation in TechDraw.
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.

It is actually TNP's little brother. See viewtopic.php?t=76815.
