Problems with modeling

Post by Zehrondit »

Hello everyone

I apologize in advance for my English, I use a translator.

The task is: to calculate a closed system in which 2 sieves are installed from a combine harvester, an air jet with a flow rate of 10 m3/s is directed from below at an angle of 25 degrees to the horizon. There should be atmospheric pressure inside the system at the initial moment of time. I set the pressure in InitialiseFields. The model turned out to be very heavy, FreeCAD absolutely does not take it out and this is with my config.

I have the following questions:
1. Is it possible to use multiple models or do they need to be translated through a Boolean operation to a single object? I did exactly that.
2. When I set the boundary conditions of the wall, is it necessary to set these conditions for the sieve model inside the box, because when I make conditions for these elements, FreeCAD freezes, I waited more than 12 hours and got absolutely nothing. Despite the fact that I do not have the weakest computer.
3. I tried to set both turbulence and calculate just a potential flow, each time the same task could be solved differently and give a completely inadequate answer.

Please tell me where and what I could have done wrong.

I have worked on two systems: Windows and Linux. In the first one, the calculation refused to start, it works in Linux, but it does not count correctly.
