A2Plus constraints question update

With further research I think I worked out the A part of my question. I selected the two edges I wanted coincident and used the axisCoincident constraint, as you can see in the attached image. But I still can't figure out how to get an offset constraint to lock down the B part of my question.

I realize I could have constructed this model as all one part, but this is intended to be a simple assembly learning exercise. I'm trying to learn enough FreeCAD to construct a more complex router jig. I think part of the problem in learning FreeCAD is that I'm an octogenarian and my bulb is dimming ;-)

Thank you for any help.

PS: Also wondering what the .FCStd1 extension files are - some sort of recovery files?
