Re: Switching forum and wiki from freecadweb.org to freecad.org
For me forum.freecadweb.org was temporarily down without showing an error. The pages were just blank. When trying to login at forum.freecad.org then I always got an error that the input was invalid and I have to submit again. After doing this 10x I started to delete the cookies for freecad.org and now logging in works for me.
In the meantime freecadweb.org is back again.

I had to clear cookies to be able to login at forum.freecad.org too
Re: Switching forum and wiki from freecadweb.org to freecad.org
The blank pages problem was a maintenance error, i forgot to copy extensions over. The cookie had a hard-coded path for forum.freecadweb.org, but that should now work on both domains.

Note, the wiki software has also been updated by @kkremitzki some weeks ago. In your wiki preferences you can now choose the "Vector 2023" skin that looks a lot better than the old one...

There's a Vector 2022 available but no 2023 on sight, the skin looks very good, but scrolling is a little awkward and the contents index being all the way down on the left pane is inconvenient, once you do scroll down to the contents index it is very nice that it remains visible even if you scroll down even more

Plus, the logo is gone

Maybe reviewing and improving some of the website security settings would also be good...

PM me if I can maybe help with something...

The FreeCAD website is just 3 or 4 static pages, so the risks are really, really low...
For the forum we could try to add some of these recommendations though

Yes, adding some protections could also break (block) some of the functionality of the forum/site (google chrome -> developers tools -> console, can be used to find this issues), then special permissions have to be added, but IMO adding at least some is better then none, so that we don't have an F

Kurt is busy doing something in VR (I can’t quite figure out what!) but when he is done I’ll have him double-check me on the server setting.
