How to use "Arch Axis"?

Post by andrecaldas »

Hello!

My name is André Caldas. I am new to FreeCAD. I am not an engineer (at least not a civil engineer).

I am (trying to) using the BIM Workbench. Since it seems BIM is a process... I am trying to do things "the right way".

So, I am making a 3D project based on some 2D tech drawings. I am starting from the foundation.

Now, I wonder what the proper way of using "Arch Axis" is. How am I supposed to use it, and how I am not...

How am supposed to properly use Arch_Axis, Arch_AxisSystem and Arch_Grid in a project?
What is it and what it is not?
(offtopic: How do I properly make two questions in a sentence in English?) :D

Sorry for the silly questions, and sorry if this is the wrong place!
And sorry if this is answered somewhere else. It is very hard to search for the word "axis"...
