Kind of hardlink copy

Post by Marc Bassini »

Hello.

If I copy Body and deselect Sketch, when I paste the copy I got a new Body with a Sketch that is some kind of hardlink to the deselected Sketch (same name, same icon, no link arrow).
When I need to copy a sketch in the Part Design workbench, I use the Clone feature from Draft workbench (not sure it is the right thing to do)
I don't know how to create a hardlink like in the example above and I'm not sure I would like to use it because of the absence of differentiation but I'm very curious to know if there is a simple way to create that kind of hardlink.

Thanks

...
As usual:
https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2264

from what version you are reporting the bug, or the misbehaviour?

This section of the forum is related to two different FC version:
  • In development stock FreeCAD version with TNP mitigation.
  • RealThunder "own" branch.
Without a clear indication of what version you are using, your report is "totally useless".

Sorry, thought it was only RT fork.
And I didn't see it as a bug but as a nice feature (albeit not very explicit).
