You ask in the video why the angle in the sketch is shown in the wrong place. That's a buglet in 0.20 which i already fixed in 0.21.

First try with PD Additive Pipe:
Such a spring has to be split into several segments at every kink in the contours (4), therefore the length of the spiral segment has to be measured.
In general I'm impressed what can be achieved with Additive Pipe using several contours, but this spring is a bit too heavy to learn about this feature.
I'm curious if someone comes aroud with an easy way to model such a spring.
