You ask in the video why the angle in the sketch is shown in the wrong place. That's a buglet in 0.20 which i already fixed in 0.21.

That's a buglet in 0.20 which i already fixed in 0.21.
the version went too fast from V20 to V21 for him, there was no video to warn him :lol: :!:

Problem: How to measure a spiral's length? I cannot figure out how many turns this spring has exactly (at least 5 as the section tells).

Such a spring has to be split into several segments at every kink in the contours (4), therefore the length of the spiral segment has to be measured.

In general I'm impressed what can be achieved with Additive Pipe using several contours, but this spring is a bit too heavy to learn about this feature.

I'm curious if someone comes aroud with an easy way to model such a spring.
