Re: ExtremeProDark
+1 to changing the preference page, I think "Output Window" is the better name for the dock panel but changing this may invalidate a lot of documentation, error messages that reference the report view and possibly some addons.

Re: ExtremeProDark
It's inconsistent against the hard border corners everywhere else imo.

agree with obelisk79
Re: ExtremeProDark
I like it but would like to see it a little less rounded corners... maybe a more subtle rounding?

Re: ExtremeProDark
In the Wiki documentation we currently use the word "tab" ("On the General tab you can specify the following"). Which word should be used in the new situation?

Re: ExtremeProDark
A bit too rounded for my taste but besides taht the main issue is that they do not convey that they are tabs at all, they look like buttons.
Re: ExtremeProDark
Are all tabs then the same or just the ones in the Preferences dialog. If all tabs are the same (Customize dialog, Combo view panel, ...) then it is just a mater of personal taste. It is not to my liking, but I can live with it. If this changes only Preferences dialog then we have an inconsistent GUI and I am strongly against such changes.
Re: ExtremeProDark
I think "tab" is still going to be the right choice -- for example, in recent versions of Microsoft Word they've forgone the explicitly-drawn "tab" on the Ribbon, and gone for just the tab name by itself (with an underline on the tab that's selected), but they continue to call them "tabs."

Re: ExtremeProDark
I made them round so they won't look like buttons
btw my firefox tabs don't look like tabs too.
I think everyon is so used to tabs that they understand it when they are on top of a window.
