Just a clothes-peg but the nice wooden one! If you have two of these you can make a pistol that shoots matches!
In contrast to the LED this animation allows you to come down  . Cheers!

Hi, it's me again. This time i would like to make a announcement, on my GrabCAD page i have LED Bars. The first LEDs i have published. There is something about LEDs i really like. I am designing a hand full of LEDs for KiCAD since 2019 :D , at the moment i settled on revision III. I was looking up the available LED colours at a online shop when i saw the Kingsbright LED Bars and yes i made some models including the footprints. These LEDs reminded me of the AMIGA 500 power and disk activity LEDs. The LEDs of the first AMIGA 500 machines were equipped with were a red power LED and a green disk activity LED, later the machines like mine had a green LED for power and a yellow LED for disk activity, all of them had a white diffuse plastic housing 15x2mm. These AMIGA LEDs are looking so incredible nice!

Light Bar part numbers:

L-835/2 5x10mm
L-845/3 5x16mm
L-865/4 5x22mm

L-875/4 10x10mm
L-885/6 10x16mm
L-895/8 10x22mm

Link to the models: https://grabcad.com/library/led-light-bar-for-kicad-1
Available colour of the bars are red, green, yellow.

Which software did you use to render the model as shown in the picture (Kingsbright LED Bar.png) ?

This is a image straight out of the KiCAD 3D view.

It's just a distraction. Nothing to see here, go about your business. Move along, please. :D

It is not your typical CAD stuff but it is 3D. This style of "art" has its place in the digital world. And FreeCAD had once a workbench that allowed you to build up models of so called voxels. The workbench was created by Javier Martínez you can check it out by following this link: https://github.com/JMG1/VoxelWorkbench

Sadly there is no option to set a colour to the voxels in the workbench and unfortunately this workbench lacks quite a number of features. There are some programs to cover this topic now. However i believe it would have been a nice add on to FreeCAD.

If you think this workbench is a user magnet see the recent free voxel art software and think again... Would this work for FreeCAD today?
Here is some of the voxel art software: https://www.megavoxels.com/reviews/top- ... -software/

A VoxelWorkbench video presentation is also available...

Here is another terminal block. Also called PCB terminal block, the one you do solder on to a PCB. This is a different design by Degson.
Almost forgot visit GrabCAD to view this piece and many other objects in 3D: https://grabcad.com/jimmi.henry-1/models

We could extend the Arch PipeConnector object to do that automatically...
It looks to me like @Maykow is modelling a "Y" with a reducer in the Y leg. Kind of non-standard, it probably should be a 4x2 like https://www.homedepot.com/p/Charlotte-P ... /313834677.

Impressive, nonetheless!

Monty

That's exactly it gentlemen, this piece is a "Y" junction with reducer, specifically it is a 100 mm Y junction with reducer to 50 mm, very common in sewage building systems in Brazil. I had to add a cone at the end to represent the diameter reduction as the Arch_PipeConnector tool does not support different diameters of pipes at its ends. It would be very interesting to add this support to this tool @yorik.

PS: I apologize for the delay in responding, but my son was born late last year, and I took the time to help take care of him in those early months. But now I will be active here in the Forum again.

Thank you! :D

The animation is made in the most basic way possible. It is made out of about eight or ten pictures. Every time i took a screenshot via "Tools-> Save Picture" i altered the position of the upper and lower part. The file itself is made with Gimp...
