As long as the topic is unlocked I will add a comment.

FreeCAD, like almost any other software, exists to serve its customers.

If the customers are interested in LCA, which appears to the growing in the world, the FreeCAD should also be interested.

That is not to say exactly what should happen, but this is clearly a topic of interest.

About Nim. Latest Release 2.0.2. Here is Nim in 100 seconds and a Nim package. There are Qt and OCCT packages.
