Models from the speedCAD competition hosted by TooTallToby
Re: Models from the speedCAD competition hosted by TooTallToby
Intufreecad, not sure if I understand the ./Upload_001: , how do you apply this within the Topic? Maybe refer to it as Month, Year that matches TTT's postings? Like I said not sure, but sure I agree some organization would be helpful, otherwise you wind up with a topic where it is getting hard to find something, especially if this grows.
Here are some screenshots of my settings in regards to transparency and Sketcher SectionView, just in case someone is interested. Wanted to mention that I am using V-0.21.0. Ctrl+D gets you to the Dialog shown at the end. Your Body has to be selected in the Tree View.

Imho, each model should be in a different thread of posts.
If I want to comment on the first file, it will be lost in all posts downstream.
(you'll can link your recent threads to a 'master' thread)

I commented on your modell. I took the freedom to upload it again, to follow our naming convention....
NUMBER as displayed on Video - NAME As diplayed on Video _ NAME_of Modeller
Example: 22-T-52-HangerFlange_Shalmeneser.FCStd

I Initially was going to skip this one, but ... just had to give it a shot.
22-T-52-HangerFlange-01 has 2 features less, than the other solution. I guess if you want to go for speed, this would be it.
Although I am not so sure about the "cookie cutter" solution, probably not something I would go for in general. But this is just personal preference.
@intufreecad , hey just wanted to mention, your SM-Latch has only the reference bitmap in it, actually twice, no 3D model?
