[solved]Sketch renderd in wrong direction

I'm a complete newbie using M1 MacBook Air with ARM build.
when I draw the sketch. the sketch rendering in a direction that I didn't intend. and I don't even know where to start to tackle this.

You should read about TNP.

You mean you’ve done a same procedure as i did on the screen record? Is there something you did differently? If you don’t mind me asking.

All I did was select the sketch in the combo view and click on the pocket toolbar icon.

When each time you set a sketch upon a face, you construct a castle on sand : TNP.

It's impossible to suppress a step in the construction tree or vastly modify a sketch.

hope this TNP thing will solve upon a 1.0 version release. it's so frustrating...
and somehow the pocket function starts to work after I toggle my body into active...... :?

Note that it will never be solved only improved - we hope vastly. The best thing you can do is reference always the first possibility. It's the safest you can get.

so the realthunder's brach of freecad still doesn't solve this TNP? i'm a complete newbie who just started from a official version of freecad.
but i heard a realthunder's version of freecad is somewhat solved a current TNP of freecad and thats what people is trying to transfer into a 1.0 version of freecad.

It cannot be solved, because there are cases where the computer would need to know your intentions.
