Sub-Forums

Post by m_brown »

Oh my goodness! There are over 26,6000 topics on this forum. Couldn't it be broken into sub-forums like the Workbenches at least?

This topic should probably go to Open discussion  .

"Help on using FreeCAD" covers a huge number of topics and needs sub-forums itself.

This one is supposed to be general. But it's advised that questions regarding particular workbenches (like Draft, FEM, Path or TechDraw) are asked in their subforums.

How would you like the Help subforum to be split ? Any examples of categories ?

in general there are several solutions to a question which uses different workshops, if you split the general forum into a forum dedicated to a particular workshop, you will not have all the answers but just partisan responses to a particular case
I vote No

That would not really solve any problems. Instead of a manageable number of forums, some of which have a lot of topics, there would be a large number of forums, some of which would still have a lot of topics.
