I have some difficulties to find as there is no a proper Wiki index.
A link to an index should be present in the Wiki "Left Side Bar" at top prior to Overview, this will ease for sure searching informations.
And putting here: viewtopic.php?t=2264 under "Useful Links" a link to an Index Wiki Page will help a lot even new comers.
What do you think?

Re: Wiki usability.
I am confused. You say there is no index and then want a link to that index.
Re: Wiki usability.
a bit of a hack, but the easiest way i have found to get a somewhat complete list of pages on wiki is:
https://wiki.freecad.org/Special:LanguageStats
maybe there is a better way...
or if one wants to randomly explore the wiki, this is a good start...

Re: Wiki usability.
Sorry for having made a mess.
- An index page would be a big improvement
- Having the link to this index page on top of the "left side bar" seems the most appropriate place to always have in a comfortable place a way to start from scratch.
Hoping to have explained better.

To extend a little the concept actual content of the "left side bar" could be placed in the index page, maybe with a link to an Alphabetical or other organized indexes.
Most manuals have a top bar with:
- prior
- index
- next
Line to permit a navigation, this could be a way to increase the real estate of a wiki page and have the index "one click away".
But this is as usual a personal idea.
Kind Regards

Re: Wiki usability.
Please first have a good look at the current Wiki:
https://wiki.freecad.org/
https://wiki.freecad.org/Online_Help_Toc
https://wiki.freecad.org/Online_Help_Startpage
etc.
There used to be a clickable FreeCAD icon in the left bar, which is no longer displayed.

Re: Wiki usability.
Thanks, for participating.
if the left panel would have https://wiki.freecad.org/Online_Help_Toc at top named TOC or Index, it will be nearly what I have in mind.
With some more sub-pages it will be more easy to districate between the Wiki, as the "very long left sidebar" is not very readable (but probably it is my fault, as I'm quite old and in the phase when monitor is too far and paper is too near to use a single pair of lenses

Re: Wiki usability.
OK, I have added "Index" to the left bar. Note that the text "FreeCAD Documentation" is the current link to the main page (replacing the icon).
