How do i use Lables Correctly?

Post by Merlin_v2.0 »

Hi How do you reference a Constraint?

I have this constraint:
firstreference.png
firstreference.png (42.36 KiB) Viewed 310 times
I would like to use the value here:
secondreference.png
secondreference.png (74.73 KiB) Viewed 310 times
Found it: I was looking for

Code: Select all

Sketch005.Constraints.angle
[/b]
In case anyone didn't find it like me.

That is not a label, that is a named constraint.

A label is something else entirely.

I'll leave the student to search for the difference....

I think your way of modeling isn't adviced since it's proun to the Topological_naming_problem.

If you'd like to get some advice, please have a look at the thread linked in the big red banner at the top, share your full FreeCAD version information and an example file.
