What a rainy Sunday, i thought it is the perfect opportunity to import a *.webp image to Inkscape... NOPE not going to happen.
For some reason Inkscape does NOT support importing the *.webp file format.

To my wonder Inkscape does support HEIF/ AVIF tho!

Did they forget to put *.webp in? .

Maybe some of the programmers here know the reason why the Inkscape team could decide not to put *.webp import in.

Maybe you need a special feature, go into Macros_recipes and Code_snippets, Topological_data_scripting.

@mario52 Thak you Mario for your trouble!

Oh dear, some high energy particles from outer space have erased my *.webp Inkscape import. Who i gonna call, space force?

I am sure *.webp is not on my file import list! According to Marios image *.webp should be right after *.tiff!

No problem, nice of you you setting it right. Thank you!

To be honest i just had to correct myself yesterday, misleading on the design of a standard RGB LED. The devil is in the details! They say.

Cheers.
