Sorry If you think I would remove Add-ons. That's not the Idea and I'm also strongly against that. The Idea is only to give the first impression to recently updated add-ons instead of an Addon that begins with numbers oder an A,B,C.
Also, If you search for an Add-on. The Idea is not to remove them. In context of a search I would prompt the last update status within the search result.

We can have different sorting options but I think alphabetical is a fair default

Even If someone does a fake Update, I do not have a Problem with It.
That way he gives us the hint he is still there and this tool is not completely out of the developers mind.

Fair in the meaning "your fault that you don't pick a name with a number as first character" Is not Fair in my opinion.

I can tell you that some of this is definitely coming in the next development cycle: you will be able to see, and optionally sort by, the last update time of the addon. This is great for discovering new Addons, or Addons that you might want to check out again (if you tried it in the past and didn't like it, etc.). Beyond that, we're going to have a discussion about some metrics that might help a new user assess the quality of an Addon -- that's a non-trivial problem (to say the least!), but the upside is too large to ignore.

I also have a feature request, or two.

I cannot click on items of the list without changing the view. I think clicking on things. It is annoying that It changes the view when you click on the elements of the view. It is also horrible to read that list. It would be a great thing to format it better to improve readability.

Do you generally view in Compact or Expanded view?
