This is not the place to discuss errors, unless you are fixing things yourself. Create a ticket instead.
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.

@domad I can't reproduce what you describe in the linked message. If you want to scale a solid you have to check the Clone checkbox. If you don't no new object is created and there is a message in the report view. It does not matter if the scaling is uniform or not.

Your problem may be related to:

Can you upgrade an try again?

You are right, it belongs here; @domad, sorry for the confusion (I would have bet it was in the developer forum :oops: ). In fact, a moderator should have moved the original topic here.

Hello @Roy_043, greetings to the Community!
Certainly the "create clone" box must be selected, but now try setting different scaling parameters for "x", "y" and "z", you will see that in the updated/preview view it seems to work, but a clone is created on confirmation identical to the original (i.e. not scaled).
The "not scaled" clone with the error icon is displayed in the "Tree view";
now open the properties and try to set the scaling parameters from there:
- if you set a unique scaling (equal values for "x", "y" and "z") then the operation is successful
- if instead you set unequal values (even for just one axis) Fc signals the error and does not complete the scaling operation.
Note that the scaling parameter "uniform scaling" or "uneven" is not present among the parameters of the "Data" tab.
I don't know if I was clear in describing the problem, @Roy_043 if you think it's appropriate I can make an animated gif.

Thanks @Roy_043 for having "refocused" @chrisb whom I thank for the kindness shown (post scriptum I understood that you had gone into a "balloon / confusion"). :)

This issue (which is not directly related to Draft code) has already been fixed. Please upgrade and try again.

@Roy_043 thanks for the information, the weekly-builds-33175-conda for Linux is not yet available, but I have no doubt that the problem is solved.
