Macro Preferences path

Hi,
I think in this pages:
https://wiki.freecad.org/Std_DlgMacroRecord
https://wiki.freecad.org/Std_DlgMacroExecute
the path:
Edit → Preferences... → General → Macro → Macro path
should be
Edit → Preferences... → Python → Macro → Macro path

Code: Select all

I have been doing some work related to updating the documentation of the preferences, but I definitely would have missed this. Thanks for reporting.

My FC 21 only has a General section, no python section. When and where did this change occur?

My FreeCAD 21 has the General catagory and now Python category, as shown below:

Python has been moved into its own category, last week or the week before. Check the left column.

Thanks for the info, my version is older than this change, but I thought was very similar to the OP's version, I will check more carefully in future.
