I like the idea. Mainly every improvement within PD is another one!

i understand your opinion, obviously this Feature is mainly addressed for design in mechanical industry. i've given an idea to @chrisb and @NewJoker how the feature could work.

@edi @jnxd can you do something?

I do not like case specific operation (woodworking specific vs. machine specific, vs. arch specific, vs. whatever) on a general tool. For that are macros and addons. Besides there is no need of effort to make a key in PartDesign, really no witchcraft.

Btw, who uses keys today (when it is no repair/replacement or cheap and brittle mass production)?

this Feature is mainly addressed for design in mechanical industry.

I'm in the mechanical industry for years. but if i count the amount of times i need a keyway it is a few times in a year.
If i do an average project in FC compared to Creo Parametric what i use by default FC takes at least 10% - 15% more time for the same output.
