and this is the latest appimage avilable
if you truly want "latest" use snap
(I thing realthunder was busy with topo stuff...)

thanks I have the version. I also had the snap version, but I deleted it again because the system did what it wanted, unsolicited updates at inappropriate times

yes, that's why I hate snaps as well
but sometimes the latest version is needed

so ... I have one (ubuntu) running snaps
and another (debian) running appimages

easy ;)

@thomas-neemann and @bambuko , you've got me wrong, I'm aware where is the lastest RT release ;)
I said release 2022-04-30 is the last one where the sync information with master is mentioned AFAIK.

there are some people who are doing it but I don't think it is possible from within FreeCAD?
