I wish to incorporate threaded parts in some of my 3d printed projects (e.g., jar with lid). I have experimented with PartDesign Hole, which is amazingly powerful and easy to use for generating female threads.

I have not found a comparable method for creating male threads. AFAIK, the methods presented in Thread for Screw Tutorial are the only options presently available. Each option appears to possess certain problems.

Which option have you used to successfully produce 3D printed male threads?
