[Solved]Need help with candle mold edit:Multi-Taper Mold

Post by ImadOofus »

Hello!

I am currently trying to design a negative-relief candle mold (in two halves) but am not really sure how to do it in freecad. I know how to make a single candle mold but can't figure out a way to turn it from a single mold to a multiple-slot mold. I've included the current design i'm using and a picture of what i've looking to make.

Any and all help is appreciated and hope y'all have a nice day.

-ImadOofus

EDIT:

Put up my version of it, Cheers!

Model the plate, then model the candle as a subtractive revolve (groove) then pattern it....

Easy peasy. :D

Wait, so how do I change the number of tapers per mold?

I'm still relatively new to FreeCAD.....
Thank-you for the help by the way.

edit:
Nope, wait, I figured it out haha.

Thanks a lot, I really really appreciate it. When I'm finished with my alterations I'll post it here for all to use for free.

Cheers!
