Is there an example of tasks? What I didn't find in the link is the type of funding that's available here (small funds for individual articles or month long stipends) and the amount of work that would warrant it. Then again I probably didn't look well enough.

There is probably some polishing possible in the B-spline pages of the wiki but I don't know how much work it'll entail.

Translation also seems to be a good project if that's acceptable.

I don't think translation is what they are after, because the idea is to "hire" technical writers.
