I am having problem with 0.20.2. just installed it today after a hard drive upgrade and fresh windows 10 install today, the program starts and runs, when i go to open a file the window opens but it stays blank then after 30sec FreeCad crashes, windows is fully up today as i do that first before installing any programs
I already tried to uninstall/reinstall and reboot the computer too still the same problem
any ideas with??

Something with your system seems wrong if opening the dialog causes a crash. Check what happens if you use the Open dialog of any other program.
A workaround is to not use the native file dialog but that of Qt. Therefore go to Tools > Parameter editor and navigate to BaseApp > Preferences > Dialog. Now create the boolean key DontUseNativeDialog and set its value to true.
