Slowing down of animation during rotation using NaviCube

When I click on a NaviCube's face and the animation is enabled, the rotation is very fast. How can I slow it down?

I don´t think it is possible to slow it down, it looks like the value is hard coded. I do agree that the animation is too fast. In some situations it appears as if there is no animation at all. Like when you select a face and then select one of the two rotation arrows above the NaviCube. I have recently been looking into the code that deals with these animations and I am going to attempt to rewrite parts of it to make the navigation animations more customizable. This includes the animation speed but also an option to slowly accelerate and decelerate the animation. No promises that it is going to be finished anytime soon though.
