Assembly3 installing py_slvs

Post by JAndersM »

I tried adding the workbench Assembly3 and used the automatic installation of py_slvs in the Addon manager. But it does not work I get an error message that directs me to the Report view. This is the message there:

Code: Select all

 b'pip 22.3.1 from /snap/freecad/517/lib/python3.8/site-packages/pip (python 3.8)\n'Nonepip 22.3.1 from /snap/freecad/517/lib/python3.8/site-packages/pip (python 3.8)
I tried installing the package with pip but then it installs it in the wrong python installation. I have not figured out how to get it right.

Anyone know how to fix this?

OS: Ubuntu 20.04

The python executable in the add on manager seems not to work. The symlink is broken in the snap directory. Can't get it to work...
