Hi,
coming back to asm3 after about a year, I don't seem to find a way to place a round bar in a v-groove.
I need something like the tangent constraint in Sketcher but there does not seem to be an equivalent. ( only point-on-circle which requires I already know the point of contact. ).
AttachmentGroup constraint keeps rotating the round bar and sticking them at rightangles. Even though they are almost touching already. Even if I select the cyclindrical surface it sticks the circular end of the rod.
Can anyone help out ?
TIA.
What, no tangent constraint?

Re: What, no tangent constraint?
something is screwed up here.
If I put the plane alignment on the end faces, everything else fails because it wants to flip the bar by 90 degrees.
What is going on ?
