defining geometry problem
I can get the defining geometries lines succefully as you can see on picture, but when i try to build an extrusion I notice my sketch it is empty... so no extrusion.
the sketch it is not attached to any object...perhaps this is my fault?
For sure is a newbie question please can anybody tell me what I am missing ?
Re: defining geometry problem
Hi and welcome to the forum!
I am not familiar with the link branch, but this looks as if you have only external and no real geometry.

Re: defining geometry problem
HI, thanks for your prompt repply...
I create the lines with defining geometry tool. I was thinking that with this tool it is possible directly to extrude the lid but it seems to be just a guide outline?
Perhaps I missed something.. can you tell me why the lines are not real geometry (i think thats the tool's purpouse)

I have currently no link branch installed. Can please somebody else jump in?

Re: defining geometry problem
The second tool must be used to obtain geometries directly usable for an extrusion (additive or subtractive).
The first tool projects geometries usable only as references.
