making a model of a gator aid bottle neck from original specification
all work was done in part design inside latest real thunder release
i developed the thread with a helical extrude in parts design.
added lead in and lead outs with revolution about datum lines
used polar array to make two threads
subtracted excess lead in and out with a removal extrude
generated the rest of the neck with a revolve
when i add the last revolve the thread in the position of the base thread acts as a subtractive feature.
I've tried many combinations of order of construction, making individual components and bullion them together
they all have a feature that one of the parts turns into a subtractive element
or
the bullion object degenerates into crossing planes that do not make a solid at the interface between objects
what am i doing wrong????????????

Re: disapearing polar array
forgot to put in a screen shot
Re: disapearing polar array
Change your order of operations.
You have to be careful to build on a base shape rather than on a feature.
See attached.
