Appimage delivered with Glider wb

AppImage comes with Glider workbench.
and the update of Help Addon is abnormal, see my Freecad info below.

glider workbench is added by looo who is the packager for the appimage, IIRC he develops that workbench too. The help addon thing is a bug with the addon manager I think, can you weight in @chennes ?

Those backups get created when something goes wrong with a git update that requires a re-clone. As a general rule they can be safely deleted if the addon is not creating any trouble, but I have not yet automated that process.

the fact that Glider is delivered with AppImage, is it an error or something planned?

@chennes I am not behind my personnal computer, I'll do that this evening. I will remove and put it back this Addon. Would also be great to have the possibility to translate the interface on Crowdin of Help Addon. I keep you in touch.

as you can see in my previous post, after removing the Help Addon, I still have the backup trace.
when you say, one can remove it, how do you manually do that?

the glider workbench is shipped with the weekly builds, I can remove it if wanted.

And it often needs explanations to newbies why just this workbench is included.

I also wish the removal of Reverse engineering, Robot workbenches as they are no more supported as official workbench with V1.0.
Paddle has also raised the point about the shortcut <none> and I don't know the status about Test Framework and Web.
I guess it requires extra work to purge these workbenches. That's an other story.
