I'm puzzled. I downloaded FreeCAD 0.19 from FreeCAD.org (FreeCAD_0.19-24291-macOS-x86_64-conda.dmg). Launched it. At that time I still had the FreeCAD 0.18 icon in launchpad and when clicking on that I obviously got 0.18. Deleted it.
Magically after the next invocation of the FreeCAD version in the DMG a new FreeCAD icon appeared in the Launcher pages.
But where did the program (FreeCAD.app) go?
EDIT: looks like it is still in the DMG.

It depends on where you installed it. You can drag FreecCAD wherever you drag it out of the DMG folder. Check your Applications folder.
