Paddle has also raised the point about the shortcut <none> and I don't know the status about Test Framework and Web.
I guess it requires extra work to purge these workbenches. That's an other story.
I don't think Reverse Engineering WB is not supported, as it is made by @wmayer and hold some updated 11 months ago, and recently I have had some discussion about it and he has told me none about his deprecation, He has only mentioned that as soon as he has some spare time he will check a couple of things.

I admit that is not wide used, but when you have to make use of point clouds and made some approximating of surfaces, it is the only tool available for now.

I don't know, but probably not as it is coded in C.

Sadly compiled things are very sensible regarding libraries mismatch, as example if you compile it for OCCT 7.6.1 and FreeCAD is compiled with OCCT 7.5.3 things could not work.

Such thing will work as example if you are bundling your own WB with FreeCAD, you start with a defined FreeCAD version and then compile FreeCAD and your own C++ WB to make an AppImage or similar for each platform (Linux, Windows and MacOS), so the base libraries are the same.

But if you intend to distribute it as a separate WB to be managed by the AddOn Manager, from the little I know I think it is not feasible.
