This also the big problem fillet,,, when i use the faster ways to create object,, i cant do fillet on edge. but if i use different way the fillet command is working on edge . i just pick the ways for the final result as the object should be

2:30 Selecting a face to support a sketch is prone to TNP => select a plane, moreover for something like a ThroughAll Hole.
5:20 You kill PolarPattern, you kill PARAMETRIC.
So if you change something in the tree construction, it will crash or not follow

Thats my style ,, As long as the dimensions don't change, it doesn't matter for me. Still get the good part for 3d printingShalmeneser wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 4:03 pm 2:30 Selecting a face to support a sketch is prone to TNP => select a plane, moreover for something like a ThroughAll Hole.

selecting a face to support a sketch its a features on cad sofware,, if you already try the others cad software like fusion 360, zw3d, solidworks, inventor, autocad mechanical, creo, corelcad, rhino, gstarcad, solidedge, progecad, catia, and gstarcad mechanical. its doesn't matter to do that, because its just a feature to speed drawing than you create a dantum plan then drawing. And freecad allow to selecting face to create sketch .

Re: FreeCAD Basic Tutorial For Bad User (Beginner & Pro Not Recommend)
Bad practice indeed, but you should name it, so that others can learn.
E.g.:
- Better think of where you center an object
- prefer geometric constraints over dimensions
- use the famous M key with polyline tool
- ...
