Misalignment of Text in TechDraw Workbench

Post by MrCAD »

Hello,

I am working on TechDraw WB to customize template for a project and facing a strange behavior of Texts.

Texts are shifted to another position other than I placed it into Inkscape SVG file. I have attached my SVG file and a screenshot for reference.

How to resolve this problem? I also looked into the default templates and opened it in Inkscape to understand the basics, but unable to figure out what is the cause of this behavior in my template?

Code: Select all

From TechDraw_Templates: "The xml:space="preserve" clause sometimes causes problems with text size and positioning. It is best to avoid/remove this clause from your custom template's SVG code."

You probably also want to save the template as "plain Svg" instead of "Inkscape Svg".
