In accordance with GOST standards, the dimensions are indicates mainly in italics.
Is possible to make dimension values as Italic font style?

Re: Is possible to make dimension values as Italic font style?
In my country, the IRAM 4503 standard based on the ISO 3098 standard also makes it possible to use inclined or italic letters. The default font in FreeCAD is osifont, but I haven't found a way to make it italic with techdraw. Maybe there is a macro or code to be able to do it, but ideally there would be in preferences the option to have the fonts in italics whatever one chooses.

Not possible in current versions. Would this setting apply to all dimensions, or does it need to be adjustable for individual dimensions? A bit less work if it applies to all dimensions,

In my case, yes, it would be applied to all the dimensions of the page that is being worked on. That's why I think it should be in the TechDraw preferences. Even better if the labels of the templates also came with said type of italic font.

I think it should be possible with individual characters within a dimension. See Fig. 29 of ISO129-1:2018 as an example.wandererfan wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 3:37 pm ...Would this setting apply to all dimensions, or does it need to be adjustable for individual dimensions?
We have to be careful about mixing standards: ISO 3098 is for lettering on technical documents in general. ISO 129 is more narrowly focussed on dimensions.
