The workbench drop-down menu's icon size is not same as the toolbar icon size and it looks bad when you increase the toolbar icon size more.
So what i am suggesting is to use the same icon size as the toolbar, like this.
Suggestion: Use same toolbar icon size for the Workbench dropdown menu

My guess is, that this would increase the height of the field and thus the toolbar. Space is very precious in a 3D application and I would rather give up the workbench icon completely than giving away additional space.

As you have shown this looks ugly. The important point is that the text is clearly visible.rahmanshaber wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 2:19 am So what i am suggesting is to use the same icon size as the toolbar, like this.
I agree that for 48px icons the dropdown text could indeed be larger. Feel free to send a patch. personally, I think it is not worth the effort since 48px icons are a very rare use case and we haven't got yet complaints.

no, it won't. as we can see 48x button already resize the toolbar, and the icon size of the dropdown menu will be same, it won't take extra space vertically.
.
It's just a picture, i edited in the paint app.
this will create unnecessary font size issue. instead making the text bold will be better.
Or remove the icon and make the dropdown menu take the full vertical size
