Crash when doing sweep

Post by wvmarle »

Parts toolbox, select Sweep tool
Add Wire, Wire001, Wire002 for the sweep
Select the ellipse for sweep path
Create the sweep: crash

Probably I'm doing something illegal here by having the ellipse extend beyond the Wire and Wire002, but nevertheless it shouldn't crash.

Edit Crashes for me aswell
EDIT- When sweeping along the full, 360° ellipse no problem. The crash happens when sweeping along the ellipse arc from -5° to 185°.
Sorry for any confusion

No crash here

When sweeping along the full, 360° ellipse no problem. The crash happens when sweeping along the ellipse arc from -5° to 185°. The wires are at 0° and 180° along the path; when the ellipse runs from 0° to 180° it also goes fine.

That is just some platform dependent behavior. When windows (or in this case FreeCAD tells you about an "Access Violation" the program crashed. Even if compiler flags prevented it from being killed. Please use the severity "crash" inside the bug tracker for those errors.
