I can't find the "non-solid"
I'm trying to create a cut in the enclosed file, where I delete my object "Cuts" from "Solid". I'm told "The use of non-solids for boolean operations may lead to unexpected results."
I've had this before and it was because I forgot to click "Create Solid" when I was doing an extrusion. Here, I can't find which is the non-solid. I think it's probably in one of the arrays, but can't see it.
the cut seems to work, but I have a feeling it will go badly when I export an STL and try to load that into my slicer.
Can anyone help, please?
Thanks in advance!

Re: I can't find the "non-solid"
CheckGeometry says both are solids. May be an issue with the links.

I don't understand "links"? Can you help again, please?
Re: I can't find the "non-solid"
Hmm...here it passes geometry check in FreeCAD. And the exported stl seems to pass the 3D print checks and manifold check in Blender.

For "Lugs" and "Slits" you used Draft arrays. they come in different flavors, where the Link version doesn't really copy the elements. If no other power user objects, you should create a ticket on Gthub.

The result here is ok as well. Do you too get the intermediate message with the non solids when you create the cut?

Re: I can't find the "non-solid"
I didn't attempt any operations. I opened the file, no errors. I also did a recompute with no errors.

Hi KDM, greetings to the Community!
It's not a bug but a surface intersection problem, you simply have to lower, on the "Z" axis, the cut sphere "Lug" by a few hundredths or thousandths of a mm, and everything will work.
Attached is your file which contains the lowering of "Lug" on the "Z" axis

Re: I can't find the "non-solid"
Can you try to redo the top level cut?
