I'm trying to set the distance from the left edge of the plate to centerline of the slot to 150mm. The slot on the right edge sets okay, but the left one turns the slot orange and tells me I have a constraint conflict.

Can someone help me with how I find the constraint issue.

You need to fix the conflicting constraints before any further constraints are added.

Also, it is better practice to use multiple simple sketches and Feature Pattern tools, rather than sketches with lots of constraints and arrays.

It is faster to recompute and easier to view and maintain.

That sketch is far too complicated to be of any use.

Do not make patterns in sketches, instead use simple sketches and feature patterns of solids.

In sketches do not repeat dimensional constraints instead use geometric constraints, they show the design intent and are less burdensome to the solver.

Thanks guys. These are a lot cleaner. I'm going to look into MultiTransforms. Thanks for your patience. The last mechanical drawing I did was with a T-square in the 70s, so I just tried what I knew.

Nothing wrong with trying, that's how you learn.
